Dear Friends and Loved Ones,

Happy Holidays from the Pacheco-Navarro-Beck Family (how's that for a hyphenate?) As the new holiday season is upon us, we'd like to take a moment to reflect on our accomplishments.
This Mexican Hannakah, we have many life-changing events to celebrate. In September, Ana began med school and is now a complete MD(/8). Feel free to call her with the slightest comments, questions, and concerns about your health. (She in turn will respond by discussing the biomechanics of the fibroblastular cytoskeleton.) Just days ago, Jess was just accepted into Harvard Business School*. There, she will pursue a joint MBA/JD/MD/MPP/MPH/Ph.D.

The children (bless their little hearts) are doing wonderfully (at least, we assume they are, since they seem so happy in the photo we downloaded of them) and continue to excel in all areas of school, sports, music, dating, and life in general (we expect that they will soon join Jess at HBS...)

Trixie (see below), is also thriving. Most recently, she has learned to eat, sleep, and roll over on her own, and last June was admitted into the most prestigious and selective school for Guide Dogs for the Blind and Visually Impaired.

As we celebrate the (Mexican) festival of lights 2011, know that we are thinking of you all, and hope that you, too, can some day obtain the awesomeness we have been so blessed to achieve.

Feliz Hanakkah Mexicano!

*This actually happened. Please feel free to congratulate her at your earliest convenience.
